I composed the quarterly newsletters for the Cedar County Historical Society for 4 1/2 years.  I used this opportunity to teach myself how to use Microsoft Publisher.  After some trial and error I am now quite comfortable with the program.

While at the Cedar County Historical Society I made a number of brochures with a consistent formatting theme. These were completed on Microsoft Publisher as well.

I wrote these stories for toddlers and read it to them at local libraries in the county.  The illustrations were downloaded from the internet.  In Millie Rides a Train the story is designed to have pages where the kids could have conversation about things they were familiar with, could count things, identify shapes and colors.  In Billy Goes to Town the story is designed as a coloring book but the kids could still share similar experiences and identify shapes and objects as well as count.
